The Kumangka Karrarendi Disability Support Group has been avital part of the community for over 30 years, providing medium to high needs disability services. Meeting every Wednesday and Friday from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Taperoo Community Centre, the program offers a variety of activities such as art, craft, performing arts, and Aboriginal cultural experiences.
This program is designed to nurture and maintain participants’ connection to Aboriginal culture and community, fostering a culturally safe and supportive inclusive environment.
Kumangka Karrarendi offers a space for participants to engage in activities of their choice, promoting well-being, community connection, and cultural identity.
