Cultural Family Engagement Officer

Kura Yerlo is a proud Aboriginal community-controlled organisation dedicated to supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities through culturally safe and holistic services. We provide programs and initiatives that strengthen cultural identity, support family and community wellbeing, and empower future generations. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Cultural Family Engagement Officer to support Aboriginal families and children by providing culturally appropriate, individualised assistance. In this role, you will lead efforts to assist families in key areas such as transitioning children to school, linking them to services, and providing support through community workshops. Your role will be instrumental in building trust and fostering meaningful connections with families and stakeholders. You will manage a diverse range of services and initiatives that help families navigate challenges while maintaining cultural safety and pride.
